Rossetti String Quartet plays the acclaimed Concertgebouw
VAIL ” The Rossetti String Quartet wrapped up a triumphant 2005 season with an enthusiastically received debut at the Concertgebouw, which won the musicians an immediate re-engagement for next season.
The Concertgebouw is Amsterdam’s main concert hall, and one of the most respected in the world. The Rossetti String Quartet returns to the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival this summer on July 24, 25, Aug. 1-2 and during the festival’s grand finale on Aug. 3.
Praised as a “vital force among chamber music ensembles,” the Rossetti String Quartet is renowned for its highly sophisticated, sensual sound and extensive range of colors. The quartet’s stage presence and fresh, innovative style have won its members a devoted following throughout the United States. National appearances are numerous, and include the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, the 92nd St. Y, Carnegie Hall and the Library of Congress. Internationally, the Rossetti String Quartet has performed for audiences in England, France, Germany, Holland, Mexico and the Netherlands.
