Ruben Chavez, a resident of Gypsum, passed away Thursday after a serious accident in July of this year. He has been in an intensive care unit at a Denver hospital since that time. Ruben was without insurance and his family is doing their best to keep up with the medical expenses which have reached tens of thousands of dollars.
