Ruling will allow limited rape shield evidence in Bryant case

The Colorado Supreme Court let stand Judge Terry Ruckriegle’s ruling on the rape shield law allowing limited evidence in regard to the alleged victim’s sexual history in in the Kobe Bryant case.

The ruling will allow limited evidence of the victim’s past sexual history 72 hours prior to the rape exam.

Ruckriegle is also expected to rule today on the second gag order he issued last week, on Thursday, August 12.

The pre-trail phase of the case, the trial itself will be begin in 11 days with jury selection.
