Run for the Future takes place in Eagle June 27

EAGLE, Colorado –The 21st annual Run for the Future races will again highlight Eagle Flight Days action on June 27.

The Run for the Future features a 5K walk, a 5K run, a 10K run and a 1K fun run. The races take off from 4th and Broadway in downtown Eagle. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. and the 5K run and walk will start at 7:30 a.m. The 10K run will start at 8:15 a.m. and the 1K fun run will start at 9:15 a.m.

The event is hosted by the Western Eagle Valley Rotary Club. All proceeds from the event fund scholarships for local students. By participating in this race, you help continue the memory of Jake Brock’s love for running. In his memory, don’t drink and drive.

Registration for the event is available in person at Alpine Bank in Eagle and at US Bank in Gypsum or Avon. For online registration visit

Online registration will make the race-day registration go much faster, it is highly encouraged. If you have trouble finding the event, try “Run for the Future” or “Eagle” in the search box.

Cost is $25 for early registration or $30 on race day.
