Ryan rolls on

Does he have a brother?

This arrived in Town Talk Towers from a lovestruck woman on the east coast. “Dear Town Talk, do you know how I can get in touch with Chris Sutter?”

Dear Lovestruck on the East Coast. Nope. But we suggest you go to the libation location where Chris works (we think it’s the Coyote Cafe, but you’ll want to research several) plunk down a gold card, open a tab and tip the bartender about a C-Note ($100 bill). That’ll get his attention, and the attention of every other true-hearted guy in the place – who only have your best interests at heart.

Hopeful romantic

And this one from a hopeful romantic in Vermont:

Trista and Ryan,

To find true love within your heart,

It must be hard to be apart.

A love that has grown,

and now is known.

To all involved, love has revolved.

Watching two young people fall in love,

I wish there was a flying (white) dove.

At the end of the finale,

we were there to rally

the love of Trista Nicole and Ryan unfold.

May you both be true to your hearts as we all felt,

When Ryan proposed as he knelt

The love you both share is once in a life time..

Hang on to that love, and remember what brought you there.

Sincerely,

A dedicated fan in Vermont.

OK, it’s REALLY awful, but at least this woman is wishing them well, and isn’t asking for Ryan’s phone number in case things don’t work out.

Wedded bliss

This just in. The WeddingChannel.com has an entry for Trista to become a June bride: Trista/Ryan to get married June 7, in Colorado, they say. We’re breathlessly waiting for more information.

VFD T-shirts?

With all the hoopla about the Bachelorette, we’re getting bombarded with e-mails asking where folks can buy Vail Fire Department T-shirts. Sounds to us like a bidness opportunity to help pay for that West Vail firehouse. The good old TOV is selling manhole covers, so this isn’t much of a stretch.

Birthday brigade

Happy 17th birthday to Tim McLaurin, you good-looking guy. Love from your family, and good luck at the Special Olympics. Go for the Gold!

Paint it blue

Liberty Skate Park skaters and other adrenaline lovers stopped long enough to paint their skate park with blue pool paint and it rocks! Not as slippery as the masonite!

They also have all kinds of cool stuff going on, such as: skate jams every Thursday from 7 p.m. to midnight. Saturday and Sunday from 2-5 p.m. are for the little ones, ages 3-11 and families, and from 5-11 p.m. are ages 15 and up. Monday open sessions from 6-11 p.m., Tuesday is girls skate night from 7 p.m.-10 p.m., Wednesday is open session. Private lessons are available upon request by pro skater Nik Smith. Call Valerie if you have any questions at 970-390-3919, or email snowfoxxxxx@hotmail.com. Check out the Web site at http://www.liberty-skate.com

And finally this

The Vagina Monologues is playing this week at the Vilar Center. We mention this (A) because it’s fantastic and (B) because we wanted an excuse to use that word in print.
