GYPSUM, Colorado ” The Gypsum Town Council is contemplating a new crosswalk on Highway 6.

The new crossing would connect Eagle River Estates to the walking path on the east side of Highway 6.

Gypsum Town Manager Jeff Shroll says residents routinely cross Highway 6 at this location. It would be a good idea to make it more pedestrian safe and friendly, Shroll explains.

The town is working with the Colorado Department of Transportation on the crossing issue.
