Samaritan Center Ball helps Vail Valley locals in crisis

VAIL, Colorado –The Samaritan Counseling Center is hosting a masquerade ball this Saturday at the Vail Christian High School Fine Arts Center in Edwards, Colorado at 7 p.m. Tickets for the event are $75 per person and include all food and beverages for the evening and live music by Peter Fontanese. The attire is “mountain formal.”

Over the past nine months the Samaritan Center has seen a huge increase in substance addiction in the Vail Valley, as well as an increase in suicides.

Mental health issues are present in all walks of life, both young and old, rich and poor. There has also been a marked increase in addiction, self image and home life challenges among children.

In order to continue serving the community by providing the counseling needed to assist these people and families, the Samaritan Center needs this event to succeed. The Samaritan Center provides professional counseling to the community as a whole, regardless of a person’s financial situation. The Samaritan Counseling Center saves lives.
