School district holds gifted education forum in Vail Valley

VAIL VALLEY, Colorado – The Eagle County School District’s gifted education team plans to present an update on this year’s gifted services on Tuesday in Colorado’s Vail Valley. The presentation is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Eagle County Health Services Classroom located behind the Edwards post office. The “Eagle County Schools’ Gifted Education Forum” is free and open to the public.

The forum will promote discussion between district staff and parents, Gifted Education Coordinator Shanti Flaherty said.

Several district staff members will discuss gifted education at the elementary and secondary schools. They will touch on their vision for the program and changes for this year.
