VAIL ” The Vail Valley Foundation has added a second hip-hop master class session with New York’s Break! to the Vail International Dance Festival calendar. The class will take place at noon on Tuesday at Meadow Mountain Elementary School.

This new class will have the capacity to handle 40 participants and interested parties should contact Kelley Brupbacher at 949-1999 to register.

The $10 participation fee for this class, as well as all other Dance Festival master classes, has been graciously underwritten by the Friends of the Dance, a nonprofit organization affiliated with the Vail Valley Academy of Dance.

“Friends of the Dance has presented a wonderful gift to this valley by underwriting these classes,” said Damian Woetzel, Vail International Dance Festival artistic director. “All the classes will provide a tremendous opportunity to experience unique aspects of dance and movement and we are very fortunate to have this organization as a partner in this effort.”

In addition to the pair of master classes, Break! will also perform that evening at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater at 6:30 p.m. for the Bud Light Hot Summer Nights free performance series.

The 2007 Vail International Dance Festival gets underway Sunday, July 29, and runs through Sunday, Aug. 12, at both the Ford Amphitheater and the Vilar Center for the Arts.
