See a 10-carat-diamond-and-cement ring at Beaver Creek gallery
BEAVER CREEK — A one-of-a-kind, diamond, cement, steel and gold ring will be on display at J. Cotter Gallery in Beaver Creek for the duration of the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. Jim Cotter made this piece as a commission for one of his clients.
“It’s the only 10-carat diamond that I have ever seen set in cement,” said Cotter about his creation.
With over 45 years of unique creations under his belt, Cotter is known for his use of mixed materials in jewelry pieces. As a fearless innovator in his field, he is unafraid to mix wood with silver or cement with gold and diamonds. Visit the Beaver Creek location of the gallery to view the 10-carat diamond, cement ring and either of Cotter’s namesake galleries to see his other innovative jewelry and sculpture.
J. Cotter Gallery is located at 234 Wall Street in Vail Village and 5 Market Square, 61 Avondale Lane in Beaver Creek. For questions, directions or hours, call 970-476-3131 or email email@example.com.
