Sell your stuff for ‘good’ in the Vail Daily’s classified ads
Vail, CO, Colorado
The Vail Daily has just unveiled a new classified ad program that helps customers sell their stuff and helps a local charity.
Starting April 25, people who go to http://www.vaildaily.com/placead can sell items priced at less than $1,500 for just $5 per week. That cost covers both print and Internet editions of the Vail Daily. For a limited time, that cost will include a free photo in the print edition.
Through the end of May, $2 from every paid ad in this program will be donated to the Vail Valley Charitable Fund.
Customers can opt to advertise on the Internet, but the fastest sales come from a combination of print and Web ads.
The Vail Daily classifieds are also set to debut a new section, for items priced at $50 or less. The section will run every day, in print and on-line. The cost is $5 per week, and $2 from every paid ad will also be donated to the Vail Valley Charitable Fund.
So what’s the catch? Ads can be placed from http://www.vaildaily.com/placead for the special. Customers can advertise only one Item only per ad, and the $5 fee is for a three-line ad.
No animals or firewood can be sold through the special. Businesses can use the program, but the business name must appear in the ad.
