If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: Not having to worry about poisonous snakes while I am hiking and downhill mountain biking
In 10 years you’ll be: A doctor
Favorite class you took: Anatomy and physiology
Class you wish had been offered: Inner tube water polo
Gloria Yvette Delgado
School: Red Canyon High School
Favorite school moment from any year: Hanging out with my friends after school and just enjoying my senior year. Like I say, good vibes, good friends, good times.
Give a shout out: I want to give a shout out to my beloved dad who always pushed me to be somebody and not letting no one tell me I can’t do it and for my mom who always pushed me to never quit on any obstacles I will face.
Summer plans: After I graduate I’ll be going back to Texas and show my family my accomplishments that I have made and just enjoy my summer because it will feel like the ride of a lifetime.
Where are you headed this fall: I’ll be headed to CMC and get my degree in nursing aid and help the elderly people on their needs.
If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: To be honest I will miss how vibrant and colorful the landscape is, especially the sound of the river flowing right outside my home.
Favorite class you took: Comedy class was my favorite with Mrs. Qualman. Who doesn’t like a class where you get to watch funny movies? It’s the best class anyone can have.
Class you wish had been offered: I would like to learn the art form of graffiti. I don’t consider it vandalism, but as a way of expressing one’s feelings on a giant canvas.
Nina Laurent Ferzacca
School: Vail Christian High School
Favorite memory of any year: Breaking out into “We Will Rock You” at our music showcase. Our music teacher had no idea it was happening.
Summer plans: WORK! Lots of work, before I leave. I would also like to spend time with my friends, since it is our last summer together.
Where you’re headed this fall: I will be interning in the sunny state of Florida and then pursuing my degree at a Florida University.
What you’ll miss most if you’re leaving Eagle County: The scenery, and all the fresh air. I will never get enough of the mountains.
In 10 years: I will be traveling the world.
Favorite class: Psychology with Mr. Phelan!
Class you wish had been offered: Foods
Jeaninne Ruiz
School: Red Canyon High School
Favorite moment from any year: My favorite moment from this year was when our teachers took us on a fabulous raft/camp trip! I got to know my class and teachers better.
Shout out: Shout out to Mrs. Kirkman — you are a great teacher! I learned so much thanks to you, you made learning fun and even helped me think about what I want to do after high school. Thanks a million, Mrs. Kirkman!!
Where are you headed this fall: This fall I plan to take my son and myself to as many new places as I can!
If you’re leaving Eagle County what will you miss the most? I will miss all the awesome friends I’ve made.over the years!
In 10 years: I plan to be a homeowner, and have an awesome career that allows me to travel to where my heart desires.
Favorite class you took: I’m lucky to have had the chance to have more than one favorite class. All the Red Canyon teachers are awesome at what they do.

Give a shout out: I’d like to thank my family and my teachers who helped me get to a goal that all students aim for — Graduation! Without them, I would not be walking across the stage.
If you’re leaving Eagle County what will you miss the most: One thing I will miss is the beautiful mountains, and how fun it is to spend the day with good friends in the middle of nowhere.
In 10 years you’ll be: In 10 years I plan to be a special-effects makeup artist for movies.
Favorite class: My favorite classes were science classes. They were lots of fun!
Rachel Ledon
School: Battle Mountain High School
Summer plans: I will be working with the Eagle County Clerk with the local government. I’ll be taking a road trip with my two best friends to California, and will be spending time with friends and family before I head off to college next fall.
Next fall: I will be attending University of Denver
What I will miss most about Eagle County: All of my amazing friends and family that have been there with me since the beginning.
My favorite class: AP biology
Class you wish had been offered: I wish a meditation and mindfulness class had been offered.
Give a shout out: I’m so incredibly grateful to have grown up in such an amazingly beautiful community. It has given me so much love and support that I hope to one day repay.
