GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado – The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 6-year-old boy that occurred on Wednesday.
The boy was reportedly a student at Glenwood Springs Elementary School, but had only been at the school for about six weeks.

The Sheriff’s Office would not comment on the situation surrounding the child’s death. However, McGinnis said that the Sheriff’s Office investigates any death, unattended or homicide, the same way.
Authorities did not release additional information Thursday.
