Vail Valley Foundation hosts two-day ‘designer garage sale’Daily Staff Report VAIL – Ever wonder what happens to all of those great looking furnishings, clothing and odds and ends that you see during the annual home tours or out on the town? Well, they just might end up at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater June 17-18 as the Vail Valley Foundation hosts a two-day “designer garage sale,” dubbed Repeat Performance, with all proceeds benefiting the Vail International Dance Festival.The event’s volunteer steering committee is currently requesting donations of new or slightly used high-end clothing, furs, jewelry, home furnishings and accessories for this sale, as well as previously owned automobiles in excellent condition.”This is truly going to be a one of a kind opportunity,” explained Ceil Folz, president of the Vail Valley Foundation. “You won’t want to be late to this garage sale.”Repeat Performance will kick off Friday evening, June 17, with a cocktail reception and an opportunity for first viewing and shopping. The sale will continue through Saturday, June 18, with a minimal admission fee.The 2005 Vail International Dance Festival is scheduled from July 30 through Aug. 7 at the Ford Amphitheater and the Vilar Center for the Arts.
