Prevent identity theft! And, help the Colorado flood victims! Join us for a shred-a-thon on Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Edwards Interfaith Chapel to shred your unwanted paper documents! All funds raised will go to disaster relief for the flood victims of the Front Range. We will have a shredding truck on site to destroy your documents. Shred unwanted pay stubs, billing statements, canceled checks, personal files and other confidential information. A minimum $5 donation is requested. Thanks to Andy Clark, of Alliance Record Services, for providing the shredding services. And, we appreciate the generous grant from Thrivent Financial to make this event possible.

Eagle County to host state meeting on new mobile home park law

Eagle County will host a Colorado Division of Housing meeting on Friday for mobile-home owners renting space in mobile home parks, park managers and owners, local government officials and any other parties interested in how best to implement the state’s new Mobile Home Park Act.
