Silent auction items piling up for Vail Valley Partnership gala
The Vail Valley Partnership’s Seventh Annual Success Awards Gala is set for Feb. 5 at the Lodge at Vail. Besides honoring the businesses of the year in several categories, the event is also a fund-raiser, with part of the proceeds going toward the group’s “Non-Profit of the Year,” the Vail chapter of the Salvation Army.Silent auction items so far include:• A five-day, four-night vacation to Cancun, Mexico. The starting bid is $300.• An autographed Jimmie Heuga Sports Illustrated Cover and frame. The starting bid is $100.• An enclosed White Gold Mama Bear Necklace from the Golden Bear.
