SILVERTHORNE, Colorado – The death of a Silverthorne mother of three reported missing from her home by her husband on Nov. 23 is now being classified as a homicide investigation, according to Silverthorne authorities.

Preliminary results from an autopsy conducted on Nov. 29 show that Stephanie Roller, 41, died from a combination of blunt force trauma and drowning, according to Ryan Hyland, spokesman for the town of Silverthorne.

“The preliminary autopsy information prompted the Silverthorne Police Department to transition the case from a death investigation to a homicide investigation,” said Hyland.

Hyland said that at this time the police department will not be releasing any information regarding “persons of interest” in the case.

He added that additional information regarding the autopsy will not be released because of the ongoing investigation.
