It may or may not have been about a Colorado ski town circa 1978, but it is, definitively, a ski town cult classic.

“Scrapple,” is a frolicsome story of ganja deals, karmically blessed swines and hippies with a penchant for snow. There’s a showing at Crossroads Cinema tonight at 9:30, a pre-celebration for the antional release of the film on Dec. 3.

The movie takes place in the fictional ski town of Ajax, though it was shot in Telluride.

With a soundtrack provided by Taj Mahal, the movie flows effortlessly – especially for any aspiring snow bum.
