VAIL, Colorado ” The Vail and Beaver Creek Ski and Snow Sports School staff will present “Talent Beyond The Slopes” on Fridayin Beaver Creek, Colorado.

It is a variety show created to share the skills local ski and snowboarding instructors have cultivated off the slopes. “Talent Beyond the Slopes” emerged four years ago when Beaver Creek instructors Kenny Wander and Scott Loss realized their coworkers harbored secret talents.

“By nature, we are performers, and bring this energy to each other and our guests,” said Wander, a Beaver Creek snowboarding instructor and producer for the event. “And now, we have been given a stage on which to showcase this spirit.”

The show will include music and comedy. Plus, there will be an exhibition of artwork in the lower lobby before the show and during intermission. All the proceeds from the show go to support local charities, and more specifically, ski instructors and their families who have fallen on hard times.

The show is Friday at the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and show time is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10, and can be purchased at the Vilar Center box office.
