Ski passes blocked at Vail, Beaver Creek

VAIL, Colorado ” Most ski passes will be blocked Saturday and Sunday at Vail and Beaver Creek, Colorado in anticipation of President’s Weekend crowds.

The following passes cannot be used to get on chairlifts this weekend: Merchant Pass, Colorado Pass, Teacher Pass and other passes, including guest fee, young adult and community relations.

Restricted pass holders may ski or snowboard this weekend by showing their pass and purchasing a discounted lift ticket at any ticket window; rate varies by pass type. Restricted season pass holders with Resort Charge will automatically be charged the applicable rate on their credit card when the restricted pass is scanned at Vail and Beaver Creek this weekend.

Beaver Creek Resort has lifted season pass restrictions for foot passengers only on the Strawberry Park Express Lift (Chair 12). Snowshoe and cross country enthusiasts can stop by the Nordic Sports Center and pick up a foot passenger ticket to ride the lift to use the trails in McCoy Park. The Nordic Center which is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
