‘Ski With Pep’ comes to Vail
VAIL — The Patagonia Store at Arrabelle in Vail Square in Lionshead Village is providing an opportunity for 35 individuals to ski or ride for an hour with Brandon “Pep” Fujas, a former Winter X Games competitor and well-known ski actor in more than 20 ski films.
Fujas is famous for his freeskiing skills and inventing his own trick, the Pep Roll. Participants with a confirmed time to ski with Fujas need to be at the store an hour prior to their ski/ride time to be escorted to Henry’s Hut. A free light lunch will be served at Henry’s Hut for participants. Maximum group size is seven people and slots are allocated on a first-come, first served basis with a maximum of 35 individual participants during the day. Lift ticket is not included. Skiers and riders should be intermediate or above.
The first one-hour session departs at 8:30 a.m. with additional times at 10 a.m.,11 a.m. and 1 and 2 p.m. Participation requires signing a waiver. Phone reservations can be made at 970-477-5744.
In the evening, the Lionshead Patagonia shop will show a series short ski films beginning at 6 p.m. All activities are free and door prizes will be given away that evening.
