Skier dies after ‘incident’ at Keystone Ski Resort
KEYSTONE, Colorado ” A 42-year-old Kansas man who was skiing on an intermediate trail at Keystone Ski Resort died Sunday.
It was unclear what happened. Resort spokeswoman Kate Lessman declined to release details.
A message left for Summit County Coroner Joanne Richardson and sheriff’s officials was not immediately returned.
The ski patrol provided life support shortly after being notified of an “incident” at about 11:15 a.m. on the Frenchman trail. The man was transported to Keystone Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The man was wearing a helmet at the time.
