Slifer wins gold for resort designs

EDWARDS – Slifer Designs was recently won two gold awards and one silver award for interior design work in the Vail Valley and Lake Tahoe. Slifer Designs’ Old Greenwood Lodge in Lake Tahoe and the sales center at Cordillera Golf Club won gold awards from the American Resort Development Association. The redesign of the restaurant and clubhouse at the Country Club of the Rockies received a silver award.The American Resort Development Association represents the vacation ownership and resort development industries and gives its awards to architects, designers and developers. “Every member of the extraordinary project teams for these properties deserves individual praise for continued dedication to excellence and design integrity,” said Beth Slifer, founder and president of Slifer Designs. Slifer said her company shares the awards with the architects and builders: Evans Chaffee Construction Group, Shepherd Resources, RA Nelson and Zehren and Associates. Red Sky Ranch in Wolcott and Mayacama Golf Resorts in California’s Sonoma Valley received Silver Awards in 2004. Hyatt Main Street Station in Breckenridge and the Roaring Fork Club in Basalt earned top honors in 2003.Vail, Colorado
