‘Sloppy Guys’ take the stage in Eagle

Daily Staff Report
Vail CO, Colorado

EAGLE, Colorado – There will be plenty of foot stompin’ on tap at The Back Bowl this Saturday, as members of the Sloppy Mountain String Band bring their unique and eclectic brand of string music to the Bowlmor Lounge. The show starts at 8 p.m. and there is no cover charge.

Like many of Vail’s talented cadre of musicians, Patrick Padgett and Bob Masters – a.k.a. the Sloppy Guys – often perform at smaller venues as a more compact version of their full group. They also happen to be some of the most engaged bluegrass musicians in the valley, sharing their craft with others at every opportunity. This can lead to some high-energy jam-grass sessions.

This show is part of The Back Bowl’s ongoing Jammin’ at the Bowlmor music series that brings the best in local and regional acts to Eagle.

Located in Eagle, the Back Bowl is a family entertainment center featuring 20 bowling lanes, a full service restaurant, sports lounge with HD Plasma TV’s and the largest video and game arcade in the Vail Valley.
