Rumors were flying this winter that the Big Dogg (yes, that’s two Gs) might be coming to town. Last week the news broke and it was made official: Snoop Dogg is performing at the Spring Back to Vail festival April 16 – and that’s fo’ shizzle. Snoop will crown two weeks of superb music, including performances by Mix Master Mike of the Beastie Boys, Toots and the Maytals, Maceo Parker and more. So, needless to say, if you were planning an April vacation – cancel it and stick around – this will be Vail’s grandest two weeks of pop music ever in our short history. We can’t wait. In fact, we’re not going to. So, as part of our weeks-long buildup to Snoop’s arrival, we’re providing you (our dear reader) with this full-page of Snoop Dog legend, lore, and laughter. Kick it, ch’all. Word up. — TB
