Snow expected in Vail on Sunday

VAIL — A winter weather advisory has been issued for Vail, running from noon to midnight Sunday.
Light snow will begin around noon and increase in intensity and coverage through the afternoon, National Weather Service forecasters said.
Accumulation of 2 to 4 inches is expected, with the snow line starting at 8,500 feet and dropping throughout the day. Winds will be gusting up to 25 mph, the forecast said.
Expect snowy conditions on Interstate 70 over Vail Pass. The advisory covers the Gore Range and Elk Mountains, including Aspen.
