Snow storm causes accidents in Vail

VAIL – A snow storm Saturday afternoon caused numerous car accidents in different areas, Vail police said.Between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., police responded to at least 10 accidents, said Sgt. Mark Allen. “They have been continuous since 2 p.m. due to the weather, it’s a blizzard,” Allen said. “The snow came in pretty fast and is pretty slippery out there.” Allen said he didn’t know of any serious injuries.The accidents happened across town in East and West Vail, South Frontage Road and in the Lionshead area, Allen added.In another accident on Highway 131, near Wolcott, a woman sustained injuries when her car rolled over.Vail, Colorado
