Snow Sugar Fashion show at Westin in Avon Wednesday
AVON — The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain and Snow Sugar will host a special World Championships apres-ski Fashion Show, Pop Up Shop & Party today from 4 to 7 p.m.
Snow Sugar — an all-women’s snow apparel line designed to bring fashion, femininity and function to the slopes — will showcase merchandise from its 2015 Candy Collection, including pieces such as Cherry Red Pixie Pants, Bubblegum Pink Snow Coats, the Rocky Road Ski Suit and their signature Hoodie a La Mode.
The event will include a fashion show featuring the Snow Sugar 2015 Snow Clothing Candy Collection, music and complimentary cocktails poured by Korbel California Champagne and Iceberg Vodka. Hot cocoa and cookies will also be served. Guests may order gourmet pub fare and handcrafted cocktails from The Westin Riverfront’s Parlor 126.
Snow Sugar’s designer Sonya Powell will be on-hand to discuss the collection, which was inspired by her struggle to find feminine, fashionable skiwear. Snow Sugar’s high-end looks combine waterproof, breathable and functional vinyl with a custom anti-slick waterproof nylon back to keep you safe, warm and stylish on the slopes. Perfect for the individual with an active and chic lifestyle. Snow Sugar also offers flurry boot covers, scarves, hats, gloves and the popular and stylish “I Love Snow” T-shirts.
“We are extremely excited to be hosting this luxury fashion show during the biggest event of the season. Look forward to seeing sexy, stylish ski gear that is flattering and functional, tasteful and technical,” Powell said.
Snow Sugar is sold exclusively online at http://www.snowsugarshop.com and at select ski shops and boutiques in Colorado, New York, California, France and Australia.
This free fashion event open to the public will be held in the lobby of The Westin Riverfront. Complimentary valet parking is available for the event, based on availability.
