GYPSUM — If you’re looking for a last-minute gift, or just something different to wear that isn’t too expensive, then check out Something For You at 35 Lindbergh Drive, Unit 101, in Gypsum.

The store is half retail and half resale merchandise. It’s on the ground-level of the building that houses the Calvary Church near Costco and doesn’t have a sign yet.

“We opened May 3 and I’ve been building up our inventory and business before I invest in a sign,” said owner Sandra Reyes. “Right now I could use more men’s clothing and children’s toys, but we have a little bit of everything, from newborn stuff to adult clothing and jewelry.”

The store also has Mexican candy and other snack food.

Reyes said her retail items include Gap, Aeropostale, Banana Republic and others.

“I get whatever I can find at a good price,” she said. “Right now I’m stocking up on back-to-school items.”

Reyes buys her resale items from garage sales and people who bring items in. She visits the garage sales when she’s not taking care of her family or working her other job at the courthouse.

“I wanted to open this store because there isn’t much around here to find unique things that aren’t too expensive,” she said. “I have a teenage daughter who is always looking for new clothes. It’s also a good place to find a last-minute gift or dress.”

Something For You is open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.

“We might change our hours in the winter,” Reyes said. “Most people come in after work.”
