VAIL — Thanks to beautiful spring weather in the Vail Valley, the Sonnenalp Golf Club will open all 18 holes for play on Friday, April 11.

Recognized as one of the state’s top golf courses by Colorado Golf Magazine, the Sonnenalp Golf Club is a 7,100-yard championship course that offers play for golfers of all levels.

“Our down valley location provides the best weather and unforgettable views of the valley,” said Johannes Faessler, owner of the Sonnenalp. “We’re pleased to open the course this spring just in time for members and guests to both ski and golf in one day.”

In addition to opening the course, Sonnenalp Golf Club will open its signature restaurant, Balata, seven days per week through the season. Balata will continue to offer off-season deals through the end of April, featuring specials like 50 percent off entrees on Monday nights and Prime Rib Night on Fridays.
