VAIL — The Sonnenalp Hotel in Vail Village is celebrating the Fourth of July holiday weekend with the Sonnenalp Summer BeerFest, a three-day special event happening Saturday through Monday at the hotel. Admission is free to the Sonnenalp Summer BeerFest events, and events are open to the public.
On Saturday and Sunday, raise your stein and say “Prost!” when Bavarian Bash, an authentic, family-friendly Oktoberfest celebration, returns to the hotel. From 3 to 9 p.m. both days, the front of the Sonnenalp Hotel will transform into an authentic German beer hall, bringing the energy and charm of Munich straight into the heart of Vail. Live Bavarian music and authentic fare will be highlights of the event.
The festivities continue with Celebrating America on Monday from noon to 6 p.m. Attendees will be treated to an afternoon of live country music from Denver’s Premium Style, playing high-octane versions of hits from classic country artists, today’s biggest crossover bands and more. The Sonnenalp culinary team will be serving burgers, ribs and other American favorites from the grill.
All ages are welcome at all events, and there is no cost for admission. Food and beverages will be available a la carte. For more information, call 970-476-5656 or visit http://www.sonnenalp.com.
