Sports medicine event is Saturday in Edwards

EDWARDS, Colorado – Vail-Summit Orthopaedics and the Colorado Athletic Training Association will host the fifth annual Fall Colorado Athletic Trainers’ Association Conference on Saturday at Vail Christian High School in Edwards.

Over 100 certified athletic trainers and physical therapists from around the state will participate in this one-day sports medicine educational event to learn the latest advances in sports medicine. Physicians with Vail-Summit Orthopaedics and other medical providers will give talks on a range of topics. Athletic trainers and doctors can receive Continuing Medical Education credits for attending the symposium. The cost is $40 and includes the conference and lunch. The event will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
