EAGLE COUNTY — Player spots are still available for The Youth Foundation/Vail Mountain School golf tournament.

The benefit tournament is scheduled for June 25 at Cordillera’s Mountain Course. It’s a benefit for the scholarship funds for both organizations.

“This is the first time Vail Mountain School and The Youth Foundation have partnered,” said Aaron Ciszek, with VMS. “We are excited to be working with The Youth Foundation to help support students throughout the valley.”

The tournament is the brainchild of Ann Smead and Michael Byram, and is set to open with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m.

Prior to teeing off, golfers will get pre-round beverages and breakfast burritos. After the first round of play, there will be a barbecue and be eligible for cash prizes.

The tournament costs $1,000 per foursome.
