VAIL, Colorado Garfinkels in Vail, Colorado invites all beer enthusiast to join Deschutes Brewery on Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. for beer specials, games, give-aways and Woody a good-times-on-wheels mobile bar.The Oregon-based Deschutes Brewery is on the road to showcase its 20-year pursuit of brewing excellence. In tow will be Woody a giant wooden beer barrel featuring multiple Deschutes Brewery beers, a stereo and a disco ball. EAGLE, Colorado The Dusty Boot Steakhouse & Saloon in Eagle Ranch will donate 50 percent of sales on Sunday to The Heuga Center for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). To participate in Dine Out for MS and help people and families living with MS, families and friends can eat lunch or dinner from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at The Dusty Boot on Sunday. John Shipp, owner of the Dusty Boot, is a Heuga Center board member. A very close friend of his was recently diagnosed with MS. Shes a wife and mother so Ive witnessed how this disease affects the entire family. With support from our Eagle Valley customers and community, we bring health and hope to people and families living with MS through The Heuga Centers five-day CAN DO program. Dine Out for MS has raised upwards of $52,000 since it started in 2005. That money directly impacts our ability to provide scholarships for people with MS and their support partner to attend our CAN DO program, said The Heuga Centers CEO Kim Sharkey. And it has a local impact. We had five local couples attend CAN DO programs in 2008.The Heuga Centers CAN DO program takes a whole-person approach to managing MS.
