State Bridge announces 2011 summer concert lineup
May 25, 2011
BOND – State Bridge announced the 2011 summer concert lineup on Wednesday.
With an eclectic roster featuring everything from bluegrass and electronica, to reggae and rock ‘n’ roll, State Bridge will have something for everyone in its first year back.
“The first priority was to reach out to a lot of the bands that have had memorable performances at State Bridge,” said State Bridge promoter Scotty Stoughton. “We also talked to a lot of the old State Bridge fans to see who they wanted to see. Obviously, diversity is really crucial to us out here. We want to give all types of musicians and all types of music fans an opportunity to come out and have a positive experience.”
Complete with sand dance floor, the revamped riverside amphitheater is situated on the Colorado River. In addition to the music, the venue offers stand up paddling, floating and other river activities, cycling, hiking, fishing and yoga, with lodging and camping available onsite.
The venues grand opening kicks off Saturday with the three-day Campout For The Cause music festival.
