State Sen. Kerry Donovan hosts Vail public meeting

State Sen. Kerry Donovan, a Vail Democrat, took issue last year with her Republican opponent enjoying a flood of anonymous campaign ads despite very little hard cash in his campaign coffers.

VAIL — State Sen. Kerry Donovan will host a town hall meeting in Vail on Saturday. The meeting will be held at Vail Town Hall from 4 to 5 p.m. Donovan will discuss the upcoming legislation session and some of the bills she is considering running. She will also take constituent questions.

Donovan, a Democrat who was born and raised in Vail, was elected in 2014. She serves on the Senate Agriculture Committee and Senate Local Government Committee. Her district, Senate District 5, represents a geographically large areas of Western Slope district that includes Eagle, Chaffee, Delta, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Lake and Pitkin counties.
