Stavney support in NYC
Our family lives in Manhattan and we’ve skied Vail for over 30 years. We bought in the Vail Village because, like in New York, we like to be in the middle of the action.
From the start, I understood that this would present special challenges as we began to remodel our unit. As a project manager with Beck, Jon Stavney earned our confidence. Right away we felt we had an advocate in Vail. He worked with my wife and our design team to answer each of our expectations. Building in the city presents many challenges and as a sometimes builder myself, I have a professional appreciation for anyone who can cut through the red tape, steer us to the right local craftsmen, and make a project successful.
Jon not only did that; with the project team, he also preserved relationships with our neighbors and the town. I think he actually may have enhanced our standing in the process. The ability to manage complicated construction projects in high-profile places takes many of the same skills we appreciate in community leaders. And by the way, our project was on time and under budget. For these reasons, the Reiss family is excited to endorse Jon Stavney to be county commissioner. As visitors, we feel we have a friend in Vail, too.
