Staying healthy on the job

Daily Staff Report

What goods and services do you provide and what product lines or services do you offer?

Ascent Physical Therapy works with businesses to improve safety and productivity by doing worksite and ergonomic evaluation. We also perform testing to determine if workers are capable of doing jobs safely after injury or after hiring.

We also work with golfers who have injuries or are looking to improve their game, and do custom foot orthopedics.

What philosophy do you follow in dealing with your customers?

Our philosophy is to thoroughly evaluate every client to develop a personal, individualized program that fits their needs. We believe in spending time and making sure everyone understands their program and how physical therapy can help them get better and stay better.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

Tell us a little about your background and experience:

Keith McCarroll, P.T., graduated from Boston’s Northwestern University in 1990. He has worked in physical therapy in Colorado since 1990 and has been in the valley since 1997. Keith is originally from Connecticut. He and his wife Monica McCarroll, a physical therapist, have two children.

Keith has specialized training in ergonomics, functional capacity testing, orthotics and golf performance improvement.

What led you to start a business here?

We started Ascent Physical Therapy to fill a void in companies providing assistance to other companies and their workers in safety and injury prevention. We located in Avon to serve this community which previously had no physical therapy options.
