Steamboat also delays opening day
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colorado ” Warmth and lack of snow has delayed ski season at another Colorado resort.
Steamboat Springs says it will open on November 30th instead of Wednesday.
Andy Wirth, a spokesman for Steamboat owner Intrawest, says warmer weather is creating challenges for snowmaking machines. He says crews are working to manufacture more snow as the weather turns colder.
