Stone Creek runs for funds

AVON, Colorado ” The Stone Creek Charter School will hold its third annual Jog-A-Thon at the school on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., with a pizza party to follow at noon.
The Jog-A-Thon is one of the school’s largest fundraisers, with last year’s event raising $24,000 for programs, events, equipment, and books.
Students collect sponsors and run laps around the parking lot. Individuals and businesses also can make donations at http://www.stonecreekschool.org.
“The Jog-A-Thon is a great and healthy way to get the kids involved in the success and future of their school,” Stone Creek Charter Principal Katherine Lange says.
