‘Strong’ winter storm headed for Vail Valley

VAIL VALLEY, Colorado ” A strong winter storm could bring more than a foot of snow to the mountains in Vail and western Colorado, the National Weather Service says.
Three to six inches of snow could fall in the valleys during he storm, which could begin Tuesday afternoon, the National Weather Service says.
Temperatures will drop in the high 20s as snow moves in Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday night.
The snow should continue on Wednesday, with the day-time high reaching only 38, the weather service says.
The snow could continue into Wednesday night and Thursday, with temperatures dropping into the teens at night.
The storm is expected to cause hazardous driving conditions in the mountains.
