SUMMIT COUNTY, Colorado “- The CEO of High Country Health Care was arrested Thursday morning on charges of child pornography.

Dennis Flint, 54, is charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a child by possessing child pornography, according to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.

The FBI seized two computers from his Blue River residence in July 2006. Finding no proof of “immediate interstate nexus” that would have resulted in federal charges, the FBI turned the case over to local authorities.

Two of the charges against Flint are felonies with a possible penalty of two to six years in prison and a fine of $2,000 to $500,000. The third charge is a misdemeanor with possible penalties of six to 18 months of imprisonment and a fine of $5,000.

Flint was arrested at 10 a.m. Thursday at the 7-11 in Breckenridge.
