Sun Road in Avon expected to reopen to through traffic on Thursday, Aug. 9
AVON — Sun Road in Avon is expected to re-open to thru traffic Thursday, Aug. 9, following utility construction inherent to the Beaver Creek Boulevard Streetscape Improvements Project.
Sun Road has been closed at the intersection with Beaver Creek Boulevard since Monday, Aug. 6, but though access to the road and the adjacent businesses from Avon Road will continue to be maintained throughout the closure. Work is being performed between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Motorists may encounter minor delays and are asked to remain patient and to allow additional travel time.
