Support Ariz. firefighters
My husband is a paramedic firefighter and we live in a very close community driven by our safety officers. Last week, 19 of our brothers passed away in the fire that impacted Granite Mountain families in Arizona. This disaster has killed the nations record number of firefighters. I’m eager to help in every way I can. Therefore I am hosting a very special event in their honor today at the Grouse on the Green at Cordillera in Edwards at 7 p.m. Local businesses have been very generous to donate merchandise and gift certificates for a prize drawing to raise funds to benefit the families of the fallen firefighters. For a $19 dollar donation you can enjoy live music, all-you-can-eat food and drinks with, of course, the prizes. I have sponsors from The Westin Resort, Food by Marc, Blue Plate, Gypsum Creek Golf Course and many more.
All the proceeds from this event will be donated to the fund created for the families of the firefighters lost in the Arizona fire. For more information, contact Laura Pliske at 303-710-1213.
