EDWARDS, Colorado –A man was caught white handed after breaking two car windows and pouring white paint on a vehicle this weekend.

The owner of the vehicle told deputies he arrived home at Eagle River Trailer Park around 2 a.m. Oct. 9. Shortly after his arrival he received a phone call from a man who also lived in the trailer park, asking for a ride home from a bar. The owner of the vehicle refused because he could tell the man was drunk.

At around 3 a.m. the owner of the vehicle heard a big commotion outside of his trailer and kicking on the door. In the morning, the man found his car damaged and called deputies.

When deputies confronted the suspect he was covered in white paint. The man denied his involvement in vehicle tampering.

The man resisted arrest.

He was charged with criminal mischief, 2nd degree criminal tampering and resisting arrest.
