Suspect sought in Gypsum sex assault

GYPSUM, Colorado – A sex assault at a Gypsum home was reported to police at about 3:15 a.m. Wednesday.

The victim called 911 immediately after the suspect left her home.

Jesus Martinez Delgado, 27, has been identified as the suspect through evidence left at the scene.

Delgado is a Hispanic male, age 27, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with black hair, and brown eyes. At the time of the attack, Delgado was wearing a grey or blue Aeropostale t-shirt. Delgado is considered dangerous and possible armed. The public is advised not to make contact with Delgado and to call 911.
