Swine flu doesn’t stop University of Colorado commencement
BOULDER, Colorado ” The University of Colorado isn’t canceling commencement next week because of swine flu.
But after three students have been identified as possibly having the virus, school officials are taking some unusual precautions for graduation ceremonies.
The university is asking students and their families to “spread out” at the May 8 commencement and to practice good hygiene such as handwashing.
The school says three students, including one living in a dormitory, may have swine flu. However, those cases have not yet been confirmed by state health officials.
