Whether you want to forge expert trails or slide through the half-pipe, instructors offer a broad range of private and group lessons.Beaver Creek’s and Vail’s lessons are packed with fun and adventure. You’ll gain confidence on the slopes as you fine-tune new skills. Whether you are new to the sport or an expert seeking new challenges – there is a lesson plan just for you. The Beaver Creek and Vail Ski and Snowboard School have instruction in more than 30 languages, offers programs for snowboarders, women, children and adaptive skiers that are second to none. You name it, it’s here! Don’t wait until the last day of your vacation to have your best day on the slopes. Here’s what’s on the menu for the Ski & Snowboard Schools of Vail and Beaver Creek:
The children’s centers are a one-stop-shop for lessons, rentals, specialized gear and accessories. Registration and check-in for kids’ ski and snowboard school and day care is 8 – 9 a.m. Parents may register their child the day before the start of the lesson. Lunch is included with all full-day programs, 3-to kindergarten age only. Kids 6-14 will need to bring money for lunch with their class. Bring warm, waterproof gloves or mittens, goggles or sunglasses with UV protection, sunscreen, hat and snow pants. The are many benefits to a private lesson. You choose the time, meeting place, terrain and technique you want to cover. These lessons are for all ages and abilities. Also, One on one coaching, the quickest way to improve your technique is provided. Form your own group — family or friends (up to six people). Vail and Beaver Creek’s Our adaptive program for disabled skiers is the most advanced and personalized in the world – extending the thrill of skiing to all ages on whatever type of ski it takes to make that dream come true. All lessons are privately taught by experienced PSIA/Adaptive Certified or Disabled Sports Instructors. All the latest equipment including mono-skis, bi-skis, outriggers and a variety of ski stabilizers are provided. The staff will evaluate each skier’s needs and ensure equipment availability.
