Honoring their mentors and pioneers of this art form, Marshall Davis and Maurice Chestnut continue to share the importance of life, joy, and self expression through Tap dancing.About The Otherz:Headed by Savion Glover, this quartet comprised of former solo musicians, Patience Higgins (Horn, Flute, Saxophone), Andrew McCloud (Bass), Tommy James (Piano) and Dwayne Cook Broadnax (Drums), decided to join together for the advancement of jazz music several years ago. Now adding Tap dancing as an additional instrument, the group plan is to continue developing an acceptance from the listener, allowing them to understand Tap dancing being displayed as the sound of an instrument.
