EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado – As of Jan. 22, tax bills have been mailed to all property owners of record within Eagle County for 2012 property taxes due in 2013. Property owners that have not received a bill by the end of January should contact the Treasurer’s Office at 970-328-8860 to ensure the correct mailing address is on file.

First half tax payments are due Feb. 28 with second half payments due by June 15. The deadline for making a full payment is April 30. Postmarks are acceptable for tax deadlines when paying current year taxes. Those who are paying a delinquent amount from a previous year should contact the Treasurer’s Office for the correct amount due, as delinquent payments must be in certified funds and received by the last day of the month.

Property owners whose taxes are escrowed as part of their mortgage should contact their lender to ensure proper payment occurs. For more information, including how to pay a tax bill online, visit http://www.eaglecounty.us/treasurer.
